In summer, at the Hotel Compet you can relax with some beautiful walks in the tranquility of the woods. Here we'll suggest a few...
1) ACQUA FORTE WELLSPRING (water used in thermal baths) - 20 minutes
Departure from the square of Vetriolo. Climb to the church and after three turns pass in front of Rome Hotel. Continue along the road in the woods and you come to the square of the source furnished for the rest.
2) TOWARDS THE RIDGE AND CIMA ESI - 1 hour
Along the same route before the Acqua Forte Wellspring there is an access to a forest road that leads into the Furet area. Climbing down the homonymous ski run, you get to Cima Esi (Mt. 1832). You can choose to continue on n. 7 for Panarotta (Mt. 2002) with a panoramic view of 360 degrees, or descend down the slopes on n. 6 which leads to Malga Montagna Granda.
3) SIORI'S ROAD - FOREST ROAD - CIMA ESI - 1.15 hour
Starting from the Vetriolo's square, remaining on the plain, take the path, continue on paved path up to the group of houses where begins the climb to the road, called "Dei Siori". On the right there is the entrance to a forest road along which you can continue. Come close to the track "Furet". Then we appeal to 2 itinerary for the choice of path.
4) LEITERTECH LOCALITY - PATH TO CIMA SEMPER SPITZ OR MALGA MONTAGNA GRANDA - 1.30 hour
Take the road referred to in paragraph 3 and continue along the Siori's road. After the first forest road, on the right of who goes up, continue to a fork. After a short climb turn to the Leitertech locality. Go along a road right uphill passing near some mountain houses to reach the ridge. Continuing, take a path that descends on the Provincial Road, cross it and continue on the dirt road toward the hut. Itinerary n. 5. Otherwise turn right along the ridge and take the path to the Semper Spitz, which leads to Cima Esi where you can choose the path of itinerary 6 or 7 for the hut or the Panarotta.
5) PATH TOWARDS MALGA MONTAGNA GRANDA - 0,30 hour

6) DESCENT DOWN THE SLOPES TO MALGA MONTAGNA GRANDA - 0.20 hour

7) FROM CIMA ESI TO LA PANAROTTA (mt. 2002) - 0.30 hour

8) TO LA BASSA - PANAROTTA - MALGA MASI - VETRIOLO - 2.30 hour
Starting from Panarotta's parking, pass in front of Rifugio and continue along a comfortable road to a crossroads on the right that takes you to Panarotta. You can instead continue, no longer in the woods and get to the saddle called "La Bassa".
